Working with Regina King and Oyster Sunday, Jewell Studio creative directed the wine labeling (illustrated by Mac James), brand launch photography and created the packaging for MianU, for the award-winning actress' orange wine label that honors her son, Ian Alexander Jr.

“This month, we launched a brand in a more personal way than any other—by honoring someone's life,” says Laura. “Pronounced ‘me and you,’ MianU celebrates Ian's gift for making life's ordinary moments extraordinary. But between all the logistics, the most important part was telling Ian's story.

There's something profound about making something that is exclusively about a person and what they represent. Every creative decision carried more weight, every detail mattered more to bring Regina's vision to life.”
