DIRECTION, CREATIVE DIRECTION, BRAND LAUNCH

Jewell Studio directed, concepted, and produced the launch campaign for the Movement to Organize for Restaurant Equity (MORE), which features narration by best-selling author and Emmy-nominated producer Padma Lakshmi. They were brought on by hospitality studio Oyster Sunday.

MORE is a first-of-its-kind coalition of organizations with a shared vision of a restaurant industry that’s thriving, equitable, and enduring. Members include The James Beard Foundation and Drive Change NYC. 

“We love restaurants, the people who work in restaurants, and the cinema that restaurants naturally kindle.” Jewell says. “We filmed the launch spot with DP Matt Seger and a small crew at 5 different restaurants in New York City, and enlisted photographer Emily Winiker to shoot stills for the campaign," says Laura.

"We are grateful to Padma Lakshmi for narrating the spot so gracefully. It was one of those beautiful experiences when a group of kind, talented people all came together to make creative work in support of an important cause, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out.”
