MT Copeland launced on March 1, 2020 with the goal of building a world-class library of online learning, quickly, for a fraction of the industry standard cost. Less than two years later we had a library of 40 courses, an average course budget of 3-5% of industry standard budgets, and a completion percentage of 40% across all courses (compared to 1-3% for online learning giants).

Better, faster, cheaper—how?

We stripped everything down to the essentials, from curriculum development to production infrastructure, but the key was people. We selected instructors, creative team members, and production partners for two key traits:

  1. Exceptional technical skill

  2. Humility (willingness to do any job required)

Lean teams where everyone is the best at what they do and can actually get the job done themselves = fast movement, high quality, less overhead, and a better work environment.
